zsh-autocomplete with olets/zsh-abbr

I really desire to have expansion for my aliases as it helps me to passively learn the commands over time and besides I've forgotten and copy pasted terminal sessions that inlcuded my aliases and hence caused some confussion.

I found zsh-abbr which seems to do exactly what I need. However zsh-autocomplete is my top priority betweeen the two. Does anyone use zsh-abbr with zsh-autocomplete and if so how is it working.

The slight issue for me with zsh-abbr is the fact that I have to use a different command in defining my abbreviations. If it works with zsh-autocomplete then I'm prepared to live with that.
