Please confirm these before moving forward.

  • I have searched for my feature proposal and have not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved/discarded issue.
  • This proposal is a completely new feature. If you want to suggest an improvement or an enhancement, please use this template.

Describe the new feature

It would be great, to make UniGetUI portable. Just download a *.zip and start the app. This would be easy. Your preferences are stored inside the subfolder of the ROOT-folder of the app f.e. And your installs / downloads are also stored inside such a subfolder.

Describe how this new feature could help users

  • timesaving (if you have 10x PC´s at home, it save you the install time & defining again & again the preferences)
  • portable (use it everywhere, from a USB for example)

EDIT:

  • as a portable-install the app creates an additional folder "UniGetUI" inside the "local"-appdata folder. So it is not completely portable.
