Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Click "Read more >" on a long post to read the rest of the message

Expected behaviour

Post expands to full text

Actual behaviour

Focus changes to the post as if the text of the post was clicked

Detailed description

Recent change in Mastodon started hiding text of long posts behind a "Read more >" link. Contrary to my expectation, clicking "Read more >" switches focus to that post instead of just expanding the hidden text. This wouldn't have been too much of a problem if clicking Back in browser returned you back where you were before clicking the link instead of returning you to the top of the thread (meaning I have to scroll back to where I was in a long thread after I finish reading long posts).
