While Postgres has a number of features that make it nicer to use, it may be worthwhile to get SQLite support working because:

  • It'd remove the need for the separately maintained memory database for doctests.
  • It would make it possible to play with Holmes without as much environmental setup.
  • Copying SQLite files about is more convenient than pg_dumping any time I want to archive a computation result.
