I installed Pixel Perfect, went to the tab with the page I wanted to compare to, added an overlay, made it active, aligned it, then tried to select an element. At first it only wanted to select the overlaid image, but then I hid it, and selected a specific element but it would not show the CSS. Then I tried to select something other than Pixel Perfect in Firebug but it would not work. Once I deactived PP it all worked again.
