This issue seems to be more drastic now. In firefox not only the "old" tab does break and it is not possible to reload BUT also new tabs if the "old" tab is still open.

I am not sure IF we could repair this before @katauber gets back. But perhaps @fsteeg or @Phu2 have an idea how to fix this annoying behaviour.

I don't understand. What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Open a playground in your browser. Leave it for some time (1h perhaps). Get back to it. Tab is empty.

Can't reproduce here (Firefox 133.0.3), tab was open since yesterday.
