We are interested in having the decryption of documents occur on the endpoint... not on a server. In order do that, we thought it might be possible to run a lightweight WOPI endpoint on a client, and direct WOPI to point to localhost instead of a remote site.
Can we set up localhost or 127.0.0.1 as a "trusted domain"? Or is there a better place to integrate decryption for objects.

@earonesty Please use the CSPP Yammer group for questions and support regarding Office Online and Office mobile integrations. We can't help with integration questions here. WOPI itself does not have any domain restrictions, but using WOPI to integrate with Office does, and the folks in the CSPP Yammer group should be able to help.
