https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=VisualStudioPlatformTeam.AutoHistory is such is usefull extension but not maintained. In the Q&A session many user ask it update to vs2017. I really hope AutoHistory update to vs2022 and add to PPT 2022 set. Thanks.
