There are several major categories of work that is happening here:

quality and infrastructure improvements (open for contributions)
open sourcing not yet open sourced Productivity Power Tools extensions (reserved for Microsoft PPT team)
active feature development (reserved for Microsoft PPT team)

All submissions need to meet high quality and design expectations.

Quality and Infrastructure Improvements

Increase test coverage!
Fix stability issues (as reported by Visual Studio crash telemetry)
Fix user reported bugs
Simplify development process - enable working on extensions when official PPT build is installed
