CosmosDB vs. SQL / Managed vs. OSS

Hello.
I've been running the OSS FHIR on Cosmos DB from day1.
Now there are the options for using SQL and Azure managed instances.

Is there any guidance on the pros and cons of the 2+2 options, feature gaps, billing considerations etc.?

Right now there are a few things to consider:

1. Azure Healthcare APIs (SQL) backend supports transactions and more robust chained searching
2. The managed service Azure Healthcare APIs is limited to 4 TB of data while the Azure API for FHIR (Cosmos DB) supports technically unlimited data, although there are some considerations above 25 TB.
3. The Azure Healthcare APIs is still in public preview which means it cannot be used in production scenarios while the Azure API for FHIR is GA.
4. The Azure Healthcare APIs is currently free since it is in public preview.
