Position for subtitles

I need to place text on video as it happens in subtitles. The question is, can I set the position for this text using subtitles? Something like this https://stackoverflow.com/questions/57869367/ffmpeg-subtitles-alignment-and-position

you could probably parse the subtitles yourself and then add it to the videos, but it may be a bit tricky because editly doesn't support true arbitrarily positioned layers
