How have you installed docTR ?
Have you used a fresh env ?

Would be good if you could share a bit more information otherwise it will be hard to help here 😅

I don't install your code. Instead, I import your lib "doctr" into my code.

I don't install your code. Instead, I import your lib "doctr" into my code.

But you should install it before for example with pip3 install python-doctr[torch] or putting it as requirement in your pyproject.toml or requirements.txt :)

the version.py will be created dynamically while installation - otherwise you need to create a version.py in the doctr folder with the version content for example:

__version__ = '0.11.1a0'
