As of the latest information available, HiveOS is based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS1. There are discussions in the HiveOS community about upgrading to newer versions of Ubuntu, but no specific timeline has been provided2. Therefore, it’s unclear whether HiveOS is compatible with Ubuntu 22.04.
