Hmm, this log produced I'm just now finding might give some info: Ok, so apparently the crash is related to trying to start up the game in windowed mode. If I edit the game's ini file and enable fullscreen, it's completely fine, to where even ReShade works well. Still, hope that small log file can be of some help in figuring out why it crashes in windowed mode. |
I can confirm this. Windowed mode works fine with WineD3D, but not D9VK (current git). |

Is this still an issue? I don't see any reason why this should be happening. We're reporting the same things wined3d supports for that game. |
It looks like it's still an issue. It crashes on launch with d9vk and no issue without. |
Would you be able to provide Wine logs with this title...? If it's crashing in Windowed mode, it could be child window. |
Sure thing. I'm including logs for both default Proton, and GloriousEggroll's fork. |
Tested with DXVK 1352 and it doesn't crash anymore (windowed and fullscreen). I think the issue can be closed. |
Game simply crashes out, whether using Proton, or the Windows version of Steam with standard Wine. Game works fine if using WineD3D.
