Epic: Spam Mitigation

We need to make a renewed effort to reduce the amount of spam content ending up on open.

To date, we've implemented spam checking via Akismet, but currently this is only run on posts and comments. We've seen anecdotal evidence this is easy to work around as well, as we consistently have to remove posts that pass Akismet spam checks despite submitting them on an ongoing basis as examples of spam.
