SWG Notes:

Points of discussion:

  • Make it painfully clear which HPs are tunable and which are not.
  • Clarify process to add to the tunable HP list.
  • Make an "HP table" showing relationship and scale and HPs.
  • Reduce effort submitters need to put into HP tuning.
  • Reduce HPs, as few HPs as possible, as few options as possible -- while accommodating differences between systems.

We've fixed:
Make it painfully clear which HPs are tunable and which are not.
Clarify process to add to the tunable HP list.

We still need:
Make an "HP table" showing relationship and scale and HPs.
Reduce effort submitters need to put into HP tuning.
Reduce HPs, as few HPs as possible, as few options as possible -- while accommodating differences between systems.

But need to wait until v0.8. Rename and Backlog.
