I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date

Describe the bug
After launching the app it starts loading then goes to the updater which fails with an can not write to file.
If the app is launched as an administrator it makes a white window and an error "Microsoft edge view can not write to its directory"
Steps to reproduce
not sure what caused this. I have gotten the app to work before on my computer it just stopped working recently.
Expected behavior
the app either loads up or updates.
