In this PR mom-ocean/MOM5#361 running this test is failing with

FATAL from PE     0: diag_table_mod::parse_diag_table: Field description format is incorrect in diag_table. (line:     3).

It has worked fine in the past, but I've added -std=legacy in 20.04 to get old looping constructs to work, so it may be that this has affected the default IO formatting?

I noticed line 3 has a field with space and then a comma. I'll try getting rid of that and see if it fixes the issue.
