Feature Request: RGBW2 Add Effects

In the Shelly firmware there is the ability to have basic effects. Would it be possible to add the same into the Homekit side. I am thinking simple like a fade between pre-defined colors, flashing on and off with user defined colors, or rainbow type transitions.

Maybe others have figured out cleaver ways outside of the specific device, which I would love to hear about, but this function would also be useful.
