Note that reverting for 2PM Gen3 and PlugS Gen3 is only possible to 1.5.0beta stock.

If you want to try the firmware without risk please use something like
curl -F commit_timeout=500 -F [email protected] http://[your ip]/update
for automatic revert after 500 seconds.

Via web interface of your Shelly firmware. You can manually upload files there

So I am on the way integrating this.
Note that revert will not be possible on the first version as there is no official firmware from shelly yet.

However if you want to try this out you can via: (this automatically reverts to stock version after 500 seconds)

curl -F commit_timeout=500 -F [email protected] http://[your ip]/update

Hi folks. Just tried to update my Shelly 2PM Gen 3 device (using the "firmware update" page / file update method on the WebUI), Firmware 1.5.0-beta1 and it doesn't let me - the status bar above appears and then the updates stops with "Error: no update in progress". I also resetted the device prior to the update.
Any suggestions? - Thanks :)

Downgrading to 1.4 ;) but I guess that is not available.... I haven't checked 1.5b1 compatibility yet.
Can you please enable logs and send me the logs during upgrade.

Hi,

I uploaded a modified ZIP-file to the alpha2 release now. I'm pretty sure this flashes now.
But as a precaution I would advise to use the curl command from the release description first:
I'm not sure if the PowerMeter behaves and if it does there is a slight catching the device in an endless loop

Command line method does not work with 1.5.0-beta1. The curl (GET) on http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/update fails as there is no URI listening ("not found"). Is this probably a POST?

2.13.4-alpha2 successfully updated my 2PM Gen3 via Shelly original WebGUI (Version 1.5.0.-beta1).

I waned to share that I am using the Shelly i4 Gen 3 with this firmware successfully behind 3 toggle switches to activate 3 different scenes in my downstairs living room. I have been running this for about a week with no problems. Thank You!
