UPS models are:

  • smt3000rm2uc
  • rm2000 something

Look into apcupsd for integration with the network cards installed in the UPSs.

The implementation should use a central control plane that integrates and then sends the appropriate shutdown signal to the other hosts. Maybe something low-power like a Raspberry Pi or another host that already needs to be up, like the pfsense host, after #16 is completed.

Runtime on the 30amp at 220w is 23 minutes. Need to understand how long shutdown takes on different hosts.
