Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to https://bevyengine.org/news/bevy-0-15/
  2. Try scrolling down.
  3. Observe it freezing.

This happens with all sites, the bevy blog is simply a good repro since it's a long page.

Expected behavior

The page should continue rendering as you scroll.

Actual behavior

The page stops rendering partway down, and remains frozen for several seconds, before rendering another small portion.

Device & build information

  • Device: iPhone 8+ IOS v16.7.10
  • Build version: 134.1 (49636)
  • First seen version: Unsure, been an issue for months.

I could shortly reproduce on an iPhone 8 Plus simulator, so this is device related I think. @alinamoldovan84 do you have access to older devices to test this as well? Also, @Insprill can you test if this happens on Safari? Thank you very much for your help!

This does not happen in Safari. I also have an iPhone 6s I can test on, and I might still have a 5/5c kicking around if it's still supported.
