This is a somewhat minor addition to the navigation API requested by devs, but making sure is Mozilla is on board with it for completeness.

This seems reasonable to me, and useful for View Transitions (as noted in the linked issue). Thoughts @petervanderbeken ?

This seems reasonable to me. We're getting some extra eyes on it, but I don't see why this should be a problem.
