Additional context

For organ pedaling, it is sometimes necessary to group to pedal notes with a bracket (tilted, which differentiates it from a piano pedal bracket).
It is not possible to tilt the piano bracket "Pedal, straight hooks", and so a line must be used as a workaround for a tilted bracket. Feature Request: Please consider making the "Pedal straight hooks" bracket tiltable, or adding a new palette symbol specifically for this purpose. The new symbol should be a bracket with straight (right angle) hooks, be tiltable, and have hooks point toward the staff whether it is above or below.

Which way the hook points depends on whether hook height setting is positive or negative, so they can go either way in any given case. Hooks on piano pedal lines point up by default, for example. Hooks on any other type of line will too, if you set a negative height.

I understand; I believe that this system is counterintuitive though, because if a user wants a line-made bracket to point up when it is below the staff, then they must enter negative values for the hooks. I'll open a feature request to have the above/below buttons take care of orientation automatically, similar to what they do for slurs.
