Client cert authentification in Ionic3 Project

Hey there.

I'm trying to use this plugin to enable client cert authentification on my ionic3/cordova project under IOS, but the usage instructions don't seem applicable for typescript.

Can I use this with Ionic? How do I import this into my typescript project?

I can import {clientCertificate} from 'cordova-plugin-client-certificate/www/clientCertificate.js'; but this does not expose the functions found in this javascript file to my IDE and it doesn't seem to work generally.

Is this project still being worked on?
