I installed ubuntu 14.04 recently (coming from 12.04), and it seems that this plugin doesn't work anymore with the latest gedit (3.10.4). The menu item shows up, but changing a shortcut actually disables it instead of working with the new key. Also, upon restart, the default shortcut is back.
