New simulations

A place to keep track of any new simulations we might try to add at some point.
Some of these ideas were first discussed on issues on the main repo, that we are linked here

Extensions of the poisson process simulations (neurodsp-tools/neurodsp#105):

• nonhomogeneous poisson process given a rate vector
• doubly stochastic poisson process (Cox process)

Transients (neurodsp-tools/neurodsp#113):

• add ERPs
  • simple start: have a pre-defined ERP vector, that can be scaled and added

Aperiodic / 1/f (neurodsp-tools/neurodsp#113):

• time-varying 1/f activity
  • a signal in which the 1/f properties change over time.
  • this would be cool, but it's unclear how to do so (or if it's even possible)
