Hi, there are a few issues with the project's information. I would fix them, but i don't have the right to or the information needed :)

  • repo description states: "Nextcloud/ownCloud PhoneSync server application https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.unix_experience.owncloud_sms"
    This link is 404.

  • the README gives a lot of help on helping people run ocsms but doesn't say very clearly what ocsms actually does.
"Phone Sync provides a webinterface to display your SMS conversations. SMS conversations are pushed by your Android devices using the Android client, available on F-Droid." is probably obvious when you are the one building the project, and less when you are coming in half-randomly from the outside world. May i suggest:

    • move the screenshot so that it's under "Phone Sync provides…" text
    • reword the text to something like
"Phone Sync (ocsms) is a Nextcloud / ownCloud app that works together with a companion app on Android phones to provide a web interface that displays SMS conversations in Nextcloud / ownCloud.
SMS messages are pushed by your Android device(s) to a Nextcloud / ownCloud server using the Android companion app, which is available on F-Droid."
  • the README section called "Access" should probably be called "Installation"

  • the README doesn't actually explain how to make the whole thing work :) In "Installation" there should be two subsections, something like "On the Nextcloud server" and "On the Android device".
Currently, apart from a quick mention about "the Android client, available on F-Droid." nothing explains you need to install the server app and the Android app for the setup to work.

Thanks for your help, can you create a PR with your changes so it can be merged? The first problem can only be resolved by the owner of the repository, in this case @nerzhul.
