Description of feature

It could be useful to turn on some of GECCO's optional features to facilitate integration with other tools. The GFF file generation support and BiG-SLiCE integration in particular could be particularly helpful:

Sure, I'd be up for the challenge, but I could use some advice on where to start and what the steps are, for creating a new nf-core module.

Unfortunately the tutorial I had in my mind I can't find at the moment... to start though:

  1. https://nf-co.re/docs/tutorials/contributing_to_nf-core/github
  2. https://nf-co.re/docs/tutorials/nf-core_components/components (this is the main one*) 1
  3. https://nf-co.re/docs/guidelines/components/modules

Footnotes

  1. when you create the boilerplate code, there are lots of comments guiding you what to do. And yo ucan compare with other modules
