Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
My commits didn't go trough in #209, with this window appearing:

image

At first, I interpreted this window as some kind of "The following commands will be run". So I clicked OK, expecting something to happen.

Instead, the window shows the return text for the failed git command.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like this window to be annotated with two pieces of additional context:

  • "What I tried did not work"
  • "The appearing text gives me information about why it did not work"

The log is the raw output from git. If you look at the entire message it becomes clear that git makes suggestions here because something went wrong earlier. The specific error you encountered here is fixed in 136157d
