Freetext search for protocol files would be great. Maybe even having options like "search in file", "search in assay" and "search arc-wide".

Just talked to @muehlhaus this is a high priority issue:

Some cornerstones for now:

  1. search within arc
  2. search multiple arcs (local and remote).
    • example: group leader should be able to search all arcs from their group
    • This might require additional restrictions, such as only arcs with write access.
    • Possibly cache remote arcs for more performant access.

Hello,
Just from the eyes of a non group leader user: I would also find informative to be able to do freetext search (including in non annotated data) into the dataset of my team mates, even if I have no write access on those arcs.
