Hello, I set up this proxy to use at work but when I go to websites they still show up in the URL after the proxy URL. I am worried that my boss will see this so I was wondering if there was any way to obfuscate the URL to make it not visible what sites I am visiting. I have tried using other web proxies at home and they seem to do this by default. Is there any way to remove "pretty" URLs or is it stuck like that?

"pretty" urls are actually a functional part of the design, so it's a bit harder to disable than it would appear at first. Links, cookies, etc. are all somewhat dependent on the url format.
The main way to hide the urls you visit should be via HTTPS, that encrypts the connection between you and the proxy server. However, if you're using someone else computer then there's not really any way to avoid them being able to see what you're doing.
That said, you're not the first person to request this, and I did some exploratory work towards that goal, It's just not there yet.
