Dear Google Cloud Marketplace partner,

This communication is to remind you that starting January 20, 2025, your new and updated Container Registry images and Google Kubernetes Engine app product listings in GoogleCloud Marketplace will require all images to contain the following image manifest annotation.

com.googleapis.cloudmarketplace.product.service.name=<Product Service Name>

Example:

com.googleapis.cloudmarketplace.product.service.name=example.com

This follows the communication that we sent on November 25, 2024, advising you to add the above annotations to your images.

If you already added these annotations, please ignore this message.

What you need to do

Add annotations to your image manifest using tools like Docker or crane. The key for the annotation is com.googleapis.cloudmarketplace.product.service.name, and the value is your product's associated service management Service name.

You can find the Service name for your products in the products table, located on your Producer Portal’s Overview page.

We’re here to help

If you have any questions regarding the adjustment or require further assistance, please contact the Google Cloud Marketplace Team.

Thanks for choosing Google Cloud Marketplace.
