Currently there are still many moments when we use innerWorkItem and we need to move away to be able to remove the dependency on the ObjectModel.

Plan:

  1. Remove innerWorkItem
  2. Remove RefreshWorkItem, SaveToAzureDevOps, and ToWorkItem extension methods
  3. All processing should happen on workItemData object...

Funding for us adding new features like this is generally through 1) customer funding, or 2) donated free time by us or others.
