The seal between the back and the housing is not compressed on the sides but is loose and can move. The plastic parts are probably not completely flat and the seal is only compressed by a few tenths at most. I'll fix this with some clear silicone when installing it in the boat, but in general the seal should probably be thicker and softer to allow for more tolerance for the plastic parts.

I am aware of the error and it is also related to exposure to sunlight. At higher temperatures the housing parts deform. PLA is currently used. In the future ABS will be used.
