Face Recognition problem

Windows Hello work with PIN, Fingerprint but Face recognition. It recognize but open Windows Hello popup again and again. I have found some workaround:

• Change to other authentication method such as PIN or fingerprint and change back to Face recognition will work.
• Move face out of camera then move back will work as well.
• Keep face out of camera first and wait a second then move in.

I think this problem come with authentication speed. Face recognition is fastest authentication way, it take some milliseconds to recognize compared with PIN and fingerprint (including time to type numbers and move your hand over fingerprint sensor and swipe).

Same issue here, switching to PIN then back works. Anyone have any idea where to start for troubleshooting this?

I also faced the same issue when registering, using the pin to register solved this.

Tried latest version today after upgraded to Windows 11 24H2, and it seems works well out of the box with Ubuntu 24.04.
I bet new Windows version have a better Windows Hello.

Edited: error still happen after few tries. It seems Windows Hello will reject it if it happens too fast. Like when you run sudo command and it recognizes you right away. I guess add a bit of delay would help, something like 500ms would work without make user feel slow.
