detectBrowserLanguage and cookie consent

How can we use detectBrowserLanguage only if the user has accepted the use of cookies?

Here in Europe, it's mandatory to have the user's permission to store cookies. So it's impossible to just use useCookie=true.

Is there a way to handle this? I'm sure I'm not the first person with this common problem.
Any ideas ?
