In Outlook 2013 and 2016, and NVDA current next build, 2017.4 and back to at least 2016.2 at least, NVDA won't read the body of messages under the mouse pointer with mouse tracking on and a message window open. NVDA will read the other fields (sender, subject, etc), but when moving over the body, NVDA simply reports "Message".
Not sure if this is related to #1850 which appears similar and was a can't fix.

Just had this reported by a user and had another look. If I hover the mouse over text in a message, in either the preview window or a fully open message, NVDA WILL read it if I have "Use UI Automation to access Microsoft Word Document Controls" enabled in NVDA's advanced settings. With that options disabled (the default), NVDA won't read the message when hovering with the mouse, however navigating to a message with the keybaord (again either the preview pane or full window) reads just fine with the keyboard.
@Adriani90 re your comment about using object navigation, I can get to the message body with object navigation and read it with the review cursor now, but maybe this is a different issue to what we both encountered three years ago when we first reported this?
