Separate recording into multiple tracks

I am noticing issues with music analysis that I think might be related to multiple songs in a single track recording. It would be cool to have a function that could autodetect silences and split out an uploaded recording into multiple tracks. This is for the use case that a user uploads a full album in a single recording or multiple samples separated by silence in a single recording
