Transition/Observation matrices can be split in several steps

In chapter 5, show how to split observation matrix into capture then assignment conditional on capture? Matrix product and all. Also when first introducing the AS model, the transition matrix can be split int survival then movement conditional on survival. Say it's a matrix product and remind how it is done (?). Say it's inefficient in general to compute the product because evaluated at each MCMC, but could be useful when modelling.
