Landlord Mapper is seeking to create a mapping tool for the general public to easily lookup, and spatially visualize, what properties a landlord of interest in the Travis County region owns. This tool will also give users access to details about landlord properties, ranging from total # of Austin Code violations/fines filed, to an estimated # of people living on premise as well. The final product may look something like the following websites:
The Landlord Mapper project is seeking Developers to assist in the spinning up of back-end technical infrastructure for the mapping tool it wants to create. Specifically, there are open questions on how best to host the data and mapping tool used by the project, in a performant and low-cost manner. Consultation and IT expertise are desired to find answers to these issues.
Timeframe
This role does not need to be urgently filled, but we would like to get the ball rolling on this by April.
