A Romulus was flashed with Cedric's aspeed-2019.01 branch. Impressively it was able to boot and bring up userspace, but it failed to initalise the coldfire:

[    3.491479] fsi-master-acf gpio-fsi: ColdFire initialized, firmware v4 API v2.1 (trace disabled)
[    3.800359] fsi-master-acf gpio-fsi: Coprocessor startup timeout !

We need to investigate why this is, and either add it to the kernel, or to u-boot (or both).
