Thursday MAINTAINERS OVERFLOW meeting (for items not completed yesterday)

1. Review Community Project : https://github.com/orgs/openebs/projects/54

   • No items

2. Major slippages :

   • Sandbox app = 1 June 20204
   • Vishnu @avishnu - advises that next SANDBOX TOC review may happen in August.
     • Confirmed, we are in a weekly slippage mode

3. Upcomming Release

   • v4.1 OpenEBS Standard - Version 4.1
     • Content & features in v4.1:
     • No release date yet, probably : June 30
     • Any updates - update list if any changes to content...
     • Kasten K10 solution
     • Velero solution
     • Telemetry New metrics, @edrob999 enhancements
     • Multi replica snapshots
     • Grafana / Prometheus based monitoring graphs
     • Topology (for Replica placement) - Mayastor
     • Version bump (all LocalPV editions)
     • Minor bug fixes (mostly community contribs)
     • No changes to RawFile (Governance change only. RawFile is officially onboarded into Project for release)

   • We need to setup CI/Dockerhub repo push mechanisms & auths etc

LocalPV HostPath Supported version
Maintainers pondered which version of K8s to document support for Local PV HostPath.
Confirmed range is 1.19 up to 1.30.1 (current K8s version) effective now, and moving fwd.

CNCF re-apply
Looking good. One issue left before re-apply (see next item)

Gitbook documentation
Maintainers decided to archive Gitbook version of the Mayastor documentation.
See #10

• Gitbook will be de-commissioned in 3 months - August 31.
• After 31 August, until end of year the site will 301 to openebs.io

Maintainers talked through the capabilities in 4.1
