• not all maintainers have accepted the invite to join the team chat. please do so. @tiagolobocastro discovered missing members last week.

7. Roadmap (Needs a lot of work)

• TAG Storage Roadmap that was presented didn't stand up to scrutiny (especially from Xing)
• No clarity between LocalPV and ReplicatedPV
• No clarity around Unified strategy
• Alex wanted more clarity on Enterprise differentiation for OpenEBS vs. other CNCF Storage projects.

No meeting last week

Last week Maintainers met with Tag Storage (at the same time as this meeting). Maintainers presented an update on the OpenEBS project, and attached the presentation to the Sandbox application

Email addresses / Community calendar

@orville-wright will change the contact-us email address on OpenEBS GitHub page to [email protected]
@avishnu will contact CNCF helpdesk and get the openebs.io MX records redirected, plus get community meetings on CNCF calendar

Next community meeting

The maintainers are looking forward to hosting the next community meeting, but do not have the infrastructure set up yet.
Maintainers made a decision to move forward any way, and will host it via Google meet:

• Thursday Aug 8, 2024, 7am – 8am (Pacific Time - Los Angeles)

RawFile

We have initiatives to move forward with RawFile, maintainers will invite @semekh to next meeting (technical problems prevented him joining the previous meeting)

Changes to maintainers section of Governance file

Maintainers reviewed changed @edrob999 is proposing to Governance (centered around making the process for adding/removing maintainers more explicit). @edrob999 will make the changes via a PR
