This is an umbrella encompassing many smaller tasks that are perfect for new-comers. Here are some examples of what needs to be done.

1. Homepage and News: add link to City's budget page
2. Homepage: update text in the grey rectangle.
3. News: refresh stale content and links.

Welcome to GitHub, Deanna! If you're interested in one or more of the tasks I listed, go ahead and read up on Jade, the templating engine we're using. Then you'll be ready to dig in with forking, making changes locally, and making pull requests.

To get started with that, you can follow the Quick Start Guide in README.md. (By the way, I just updated it. If you followed the instructions already but got an error, please try again.) Have fun, and don't be afraid to ask me about stuff that's unclear.

Where is the Quick Start Guide? "README.md" is meaningless to me. How about an actual link? The site README.md is way too broad and a search for Jade turned up nothing.
