Oqtane 6.1.0 Release Date

@sbwalker The only "weird" thing that I've encountered is related to the new resources fingerprint. For example, two different modules with different versions require the same resource (either external o a shared utility js that is used in both). As they have different versions, the generated fingerprint hash is different and, therefore, the resource is requested twice with a different ?v query string. This can be problematic, as it initializes the script twice, but it's easily solved by manually adding the same fingerprint to the resources in both modules so that only one request is made.

@mdmontesinos this is happening due to the way that the Fingerprint property is currently implemented on the Resource class - when you set the Fingerprint it alters the Url. Perhaps a better approach is to make Fingerprint a standard property... then if there are 2 Resources in the collection with the same Url, Oqtane will know they are duplicates - and that only 1 of them should be injected into the page (which would then use the Fingerprint for that specific Resource to add the querystring)

@sbwalker Sorry for asking again, but the 6.1.0 updates contains some critical enhancements and fixes for production sites (like the static assets cache or the server overload due to large file uploads).

When can we expect the release?

@mdmontesinos 6.1 has been released (https://github.com/oqtane/oqtane.framework/releases/tag/v6.1.0). I have already upgraded all of my sites without any issues. I plan to publish some blogs about the new features this week.
