Get data from Axis Video Motion 4 app

I used the mqtt subscription using the below:

I get the below data

Is there any other way to get more information out of the app? Ideally the bounding box data that is displayed in the app?

The Axis ACAP may be getting the bounding box data from the RTSP metadata stream. You can use this tool to explore:
AXIS Metadata Monitor

Tested using AXIS M5000-G PTZ Camera (AXIS OS version 12.2.52):

rtsp://<IP Address>/axis-media/media.amp?video=0&audio=0&event=on&analytics=polygon

More details can be found here but mostly this data is useful for VMS partners to enable the motion based recordings:

if you want to get the object in the view, use following url in AXIS Metadata Monitor

the following url should get the same result as your MQTT:

Just curious why you want to integrate with VMD, since with current deep learning camera, the camera should have better data than VMD, it will output the object classification: human and vehicle type. That is how Vivek, just need check the camera support DLPU.

Using the M5000, does not support axis analytics so easy vehicle detection wasn't an option. We may have to eventually create a custom ACAP for Artpec7 but only 2GB ram hence wanted to see if we can use the VMD.

The use case is a car park bay monitoring solution. The overview cameras are used to detect a car parking in the area of the camera and then based on this motion we trigger a guard tour which goes to each bay and sends the PTZ image to an OCR engine that gets the plate and updates the bays.
