Could macOS .pkg asset be published (duplicate) as an un-versioned file name?

Description of issue

I was looking to configure an MDM with a self-service software catalog item for brew. I'd rather the download reference alway fetch the latest version. The Github latest tag on releases gets me to the release, but the actual asset is not consistently named.

I don't see that GitHub provides any means of aliasing an asset. Could the same asset be added with a consistent, un-versioned file name?

I can open an issue, just figured I'd ask here first to see if it's been previously discussed. (didn't find in searching)
