Add a matrix community channel / interop it with discord please ?

Hey I am having some issues in revanced youtube , I had it built using the cli and I am not sure why but its buffering (14.57.something) And I used to ask the community the issue and fix it , I wish that we could also have a matrix community (from what I've researched , I haven't found such community)

I have uninstalled discord and I would prefer it if we could have a matrix community as well.

In fact there are some bots which can support discord matrix interop https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-appservice-discord which can be even nicer.

Sure there can be an influx of spam and I get it but maybe you could have some proof of work Captcha like mcaptcha or cloudflare turnstile if that's really the killer.

Other public spaces include GitHub discussion, Reddit and Telegram, the latter requiring an account. A first party communication space directly on revanced.app is planned however the necessity isn't strong right now

If by "A first party communication space directly on revanced.app" , you mean a forum , then I think that there can be better alternatives like lemmy

But that wasn't my point. I like the chaotic nature of chat apps which can help me sort things through pretty fast. I liked the community as well. Integrating things with matrix is possible and privacy friendly as well. I hope that you can please pay attention to creating a matrix & linking it to discord instead of first party communication space I suppose

What matrix offers is gradual support / interop with discord which is pretty rare IMO
