Overview
gh repo set-default
. I've had this happen several times. I would like to propose that either allow resuming the creation of the pr once that gets fixed by rerunning the same command and resuming from current state, else ensure this default upstream is set to (assuming something like gh repo set-default aquaproj/aqua-registry`.aqua-registry
tool is run without any argument, I'd suggest that having it prompt for this info would be great. I'm guessing this is meant to be primarily invoked by users, and I keep having to run multiple times to the the syntax right. Would be great if just invoking with no args == prompt for the org/repo.Lastly, consider trunk.
If someone sets up it ensures you can run pre-commit/pre-push checks, trigger the registry generation on change detected and more. I setup all my public repos at my company with this tool and it made things much easier. Might help.
Why is the proposal needed?
Improving the ease of use for contributions can help reduce friction and prompt more engagement.
